About this Nominee

Carolina Beach Mural Project celebrates CB's rich history & culture through Public Art. Since 2020, this non-profit has raised over $250K to install 20 world-class murals in Carolina Beach, and is one of the richest collections of public art in the Carolinas. All Artists commissioned are from North Carolina (9 Artists from Wilmington). Golf Cart & walking tours are popular all year long, and several murals have been the backdrop for numerous weddings and special events. The murals have been featured on PBS, and regional publications. Murals at the Boardwalk include QR codes that encourages even the youngest art lovers to interact with Public Art. ART for wALL.
