Aneliese Bard is the driven founder and proud owner of Carolina Cleaning Services, a highly regarded company serving residential and commercial clients in New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender counties since 1994. Starting from modest beginnings out of the trunk of her car, Aneliese has successfully expanded the business into a proficient team of professionals with a loyal client base. Through determination, resilience, and unwavering dedication, Aneliese and her team have cultivated a stellar reputation in Wilmington and the surrounding areas. Their exceptional service has been consistently recognized, earning them the prestigious title of Best Cleaning Company by Wilmington Magazine for five consecutive years (2021–2025).
As a distinguished member of the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association (ISSA), Aneliese ensures her team stays abreast of the latest certifications and industry standards. Carolina Cleaning Services has flourished over the past 32 years into a thriving enterprise, serving a multitude of satisfied customers while proudly maintaining its local, woman-owned status. The team’s hard work has been acknowledged through various accolades, including awards from Wilmington Magazine, Three Best Rated, Nextdoor Faves, and the Quality Business Award. They were also honored with the Best of Cape Fear Area Award 2024 by WECT TV and the WWAY TV Viewer's Choice Award in both 2024 and 2025.
An industry trailblazer, Aneliese achieved significant milestones early in her career, including being the first woman to hold a major account manager position in the 1990s. She further made history as the first Brazilian woman to be a finalist in the business category of WILMA's Women to Watch Awards. Since 2017, Aneliese and her team have remained committed to their community through their partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization providing complimentary house cleaning services to individuals battling cancer.
