About this Nominee
Carolina Beach Mural Project is a non-profit organization that celebrates CB's rich history & culture through Public Art. Since 2020, this volunteer-run group has raised funds to install 16 murals in Carolina Beach with 4 more scheduled in 2024. All Artists commissioned for the murals live in North Carolina (7 Artists from Wilmington). Golf Cart & walking tours are popular all year long, and several murals have been the backdrop for numerous weddings and special events. Murals at the Boardwalk include QR codes that encourages even the youngest art lovers to interact with the murals. ART for wALL.
